Greek Week and Anchored in Michigan

Hey y'all! I was very involved with my sorority this week as it was both Greek Week and Anchored in Michigan. I had always wanted to participate in one of the biggest events of Greek Week, the Lip Sync competition, in the past but I had never been able to because of schoolwork. This year since I'm only taking 12 credits, I was finally able to do it! And I had a blast! Our theme was Made in America, or something along those lines and my team's city was Chicago. That means I got to be a Kelly Sister from the musical Chicago, Macklemore (thrift shopping, Chicago's miracle mile, get it?) among other things. Spring Break and Painful Pilates

Hello all! My spring break was last week and I had a whole lot of fun doing a whole lot of nothing. (Unless you count creating a bustling prosperous farm on Harvest Moon: Magical Melody doing something, which I certainly do.) I met up with the DJ for my wedding which went pretty great considering he wasn't at all phased by my mother and her crazy ideas (let's just say she really enjoys disco and wants to include something called "the loco hour?") He also didn't even flinch when my maid of honor mentioned her idea of playing one full hour of Def Leopard (spelling? I don't care enough to look it up.) So it's safe to say he has a great sense of humor and kept on saying he would do whatever I wanted, which is basically the magical phrase to say to any bride and gain instant approval.
